Who's down to go to Gorman on Monday? Should be fun with all the mud and puddles and maybe a little snow up there. Anytime during the day is good. We could do a morning or afternoon run. 2 wheel drives and 4x4's can go.

I may be up for this. I have to work Monday afternoon, so maybe a morning run?

I will be at Rowher Flats all day Sunday.

^ How is it in the Rowher Flats? How long is the run if you go all the way and chill a bit. I want to hit this up soon....Sounds real fun! :D

Ya a morning run would be cool. How is Rowher Flats anyways? Is it 2wd friendly? I may check it out tomorrow

Tried to get up to Rowher through the back way yesterday during the hard rain, from the south side of San Fransiquito (the hill climb that's on the right side of the road, on the left side is a large dirt parking lot. This is ~10 miles up the canyon from Valencia).

I made it most of the way up the hill, but couldn't get up one last section. Tried three times, didn't want to tear the trail up anymore trying over and over.

I was in four wheel drive on Nitto Terra Grapplers.

If you go up the normal way, you should be able to get up to the main area, but you'd probably get stuck pretty quickly if you start going on trails.

I came down that trail today. It was very muddy, not sure if I would be able to make it up.

I would say 60% of Rowher flats is 2wd friendly. The main trail (Texas Cyn & Sierra Pellona) is all 2wd. Today I went with 06whttacooma (Josh) and one of his friends. They both had 2wd TRD Sports. They were able to make it up to the top of Sierra Pellona and down to Bouquet Cyn in some very muddy conditions. They even took some bypasses and Josh's friend had highway tires.

All of the black diamond trails are clearly marked.
