Hmm. Ill have to scout the bypasses and see whats up. Thats the main reason I wanted to go, is to do bypasses. But gunky mud, tough bypasses, rain, and 2wd might not work. Im still down though!

Yeah a 4x4 guy had to leave his truck for a few days on a muddy bypass. I'd say postpone on the bypasses until it dries up a little. :p

The bypass that we went up is unusable especially in the mud. Just make it a chill day and take the normal trail. If it rains the last part of the trail is very muddy and it is more like clay than dirt. That weekend is Championship weekend so I will not be able to make this run. Have fun!!!

If you guys aren't afraid of the gas pedal ( I know your not Derek) & lockers are up to snuff you could do TDS loop ok I think, theres a couple places where you'll be on the gas uphill just hang close to the right side bank & you won't hit as much clay & take a shovel too. Unless you have triple AAA !! :D:D . I've been building a motocross track for little kids at the campground near 4 corners. So I'm gonna be out there just don't know if its going to be Sunday or Monday........

The bypasses at Corral Canyon are a no go for me in the mud. :p

Hell I probably wouldn't even take them if it's dry.

I can't suffer any damage and I certainly can't leave my truck up there if it gets stuck. :p

LOL, what the hell you doing up Derek ?? (like I have a reason) I just got back from the casino a while ago, I guess they get my $$ tonight, anyway That fucked up day a month ago wasn't bad til the very end,
Reckless Taco (Matt) only has LSD & he did great only had to strap him once & I think the only reason that was because someone stopped in front of him & he couldn't grab any dirt, no big. But on the other hand , any bypasses or less traveled trails are no joke bro' especially up at Corral, & after it rains this time I know for a fact that the Los Pinos Tower Fire break (thats what that truck eating MoFo' is, is a fire break, check it out where I marked the black line) is going to be a done deal, there isn't going to be anyway to get up it , I mean you could straddle some 4ft-6ft ravines that it now has but you wouldn't be able to turn out of them or climb out without putting your rig on its head, I almost put mine on its side twice, had to stop & let wheels settle down cause you could feel the tipping point, kinda trippy, we're gonna take this out in march......:mudding:

On the google earth image ,the red dot is the tower, the black line is the fire break, the white one is the paved road up to the Tower, The yellow one is the TDS 4wheelers club trail, & the blue one is the outer loop...........

If Corral Canyon is going look anything like my backyard, then it's going to be a mess out there.

I strongly advise NOT doing any bypasses unless you are a locked 4x4 with trail armor.

Stick to the main trail for sure...I would only suggest front and rear locked with big ass tires...you can't haul ass on the bypasses.
