Any good trails lrft in San Diego?????

Lots of people go ride quads and bikes at the end of the 905 (like you said, go straight when the 905 turns south towards the border). Go all the way down until you get to the stop sign where you HAVE to make a left to go to the prisons. You can go right into all that area. I wouldn't recommend going around in your truck though.

You can always go on the Otay Mtn truck trail though. Its not closed.

 

I can imagine there were a hell of a lot of trails back then. I remember when there were no houses east of the 805 by palm ave. It does suck that there aren't many trails around here anymore.
