Desert Scrub Down II & Start order draw for The April 17th RDC 250

    April 3, 2010

    Schedule & Information
DRIVE Off Road Racing held 2 clean-ups in 2009 with District 38 and filled a 40 yard dumpster in 3 hours each time. Both clean-ups were in Plaster City West and East. We want to clean up the Superstition Mountain area in 2010 so we are holding the second annual Desert Scrub Down.

Sponsors – We rely on sponsors to help us cover the cost of these events. If you are interested in becoming a sponsor for the clean-up please contact Doug by calling 760-791-7663 or emailing doug@drive-racing.com .
The cost to be a sponsor is $100 to have a large version of your logo on the shirts. It's $50 for a smaller version and $25 if you just want to help us cover the cost of the clean-up. The money is used to purchase food for the volunteers, supplies, and event t-shirts that are given to each volunteer.
Each sponsors logo will be included on the event shirt that we give away to our volunteers.

    Saturday April 3, 2010
8:00 AM - Clean up registration – The DIP
    9:00 AM - Volunteer meeting
9:15 AM - Start clean up

    Camping & Riding
There is plenty of room at the DIP for motor homes and trailers. Superstition Mountain OHV area has all types of terrain. Dunes, hard pack, washes, etc. The area also connects to Plaster City East and West. Bring your toys and have fun after the clean-up.

This is a desert clean-up only, no race vehicles required. Obviously being out there it's nice to have fun in the dirt, but don't worry stock works just fine too!

I would suggest many to attend this even if you're not a huge desert goer at the moment, in due time some of you will become one and this is a great way to keep the deserts open and or open up more land for us to shred on.
