    I also have rocksliders made by the truck shop. I paid 470 out the door, so 400 installed, painted and welded is a good deal. I got the same style as PJ. The paint is wearing on mine, due to the paint not curing right. But nothing a can of rustoleum won't fix.

    The Standards are all round tubing.

    Hybrids are Square and Round.

    The Heavy Duty is generally all square.

    The Kick outs save the rear panel when you are against the rock. It will push the truck to the side so you don't hit the rock after the sliders run out.

    Kick outs are nice when your moving thru tight trails and find yourself close to a tree, you can nudge yourself around it using the kick out. Or as Tri said help set yourself off of a rock. They look good too. If I did mine over I would have done a kick out.

    I got everything set up with James, I'm going for the hybrid set up...I just have to wait until nxt month to get them welded on...:woot:


    I'm going to the Truck Shop tomorrow, to pick up my King rear shocks and I will ask what kind of steel the sliders are made of.

    Ok, so I talked to James today, the sliders are made of mild steel. The reason for this is the sliders need to be able to flex. They need to be softer than the frame which is similar to DOM steel, so if -god forbid something needs to break it will be the sliders and not your frame.
