there is a real good write up here on changing your plugs. It is real easy!!! took 30 minutes for me, and all the other DIY stuff.
unless you want to spend extra money?

Most, if not all, of the "tune-up" stuff you can do on your own if you know how to turn a wrench. The 1st gen V6 was one of the most easiest engines to work on.

Tune ups are so easy. What kind of taco do you have? Spark plugs=20 mins, change oil=30 mins, radiator flush=easy. You just need to let the engine cool each time but if you can open a drain and fill the radiator then you will have no problems. Drain transmission=30 mins. If you have an 01-04 taco, hit me up. I'll guide you.
