Manny check out the Duratracs. I know a few people that have them and they like them a lot. There is also a thread on here that shows what people think of them. The majority love them. They have the same Tread size as a KM2. I will likely get them when it is time for the Rugged Trails to go bye bye.

I love my Duratracs! Right now I live in Up-State NY and they are GREAT in snow and great on dirt.. I have been in a little mud but not "mudding" about of mud and they did great. I don't think they are that load, but living here you don't really notice road noise..

I've had Mickey Thompson mt's, wrangler mt's, super swampers, and over all my favorite was Dunlop radial mud rovers. They wear very well and mud very well. They weren't too loud and they weren't too expencive.

I'm going to get some Goodyear Dura Tracs this week or next. I had the same decision that you have. I wanted Toyo Open County MT's, but not about to drop $1350 on them. Les Shwab quoted me that for them "on sale". Too damn expensive.
