Ray, I got the Sami for $2700 with the SPOA lift, 31's roll cage, and aftermarket speakers/head unit. It's pretty kick ass for what it is. I'm not going to lie though, the Taco did get some offroad action, just really mild. The Sami could not keep up on the woops when we were coming down one an Anza-Borrego trails (not that I expected it to keep up, it's strengths are totally different).
