Whats going on SoCal TW! I just got my readramp today and figured that I need to get some extra d-rings.

Is there a place locally (other then the stealership) that I can pick up a couple.

I'm sure we all have read pierced tigers awesome write up on the "rope rings" but I wen to the site and purchased 6 (incase I screw up making a bigger whole) and the total was $25! shipping is expensive.

Any suggestions? Lowes? Home Depot? Preferrably a d-ring that does not require expanding the whole would be great!

I bought four from McMaster Carr
    88525T31 Low-Profile Mounted D-Ring for Cargo-Securing $2.48 ea.

With out the plastic base they look just like the Toyota rings but zink chromate finish (gold finish like a grade 8 bolt) vs. black. I dumped the base, drilled out the hole to the same size as the bed bolts and painted them black.

    this is what I bought

    5 D-Rings for $5
    + $5 shipping = $2 ea. Fast delivery too.

Yes you have to drill them out to 1/2" and cut the washers on the frame bolts, but it was an afternoon of fun to have 6 ties downs in the bed now.
