    Going to do Berdoo canyon road in Joshua tree and maybe see some stuff in Joshua Tree and then go play around in Johnson Valley for the rest of the day..

    I know about Superstition.. I just don't wanna drive all the way down there when I can do the same kinda of driving 15 mins. from my house. So that is why I said this weekend or next..

    Would you want to do Berdoo Canyon in Joshua Tree? You have to pay to get in the park unless we start at the bottom in Indio and get out a little later then maybe the rangers will be gone for the day. Or Would you like to go to Johnson Valley and we can take you on Prerunner friendly stuff?

    Well I can not afford to do superstition so I'm up for a possible overnight camping trip if enough go. This weekend or next. We could do Joshua tree one day then set up camp in Johnson valley and explore there before heading home...

    I would be in for next weekend. This weekend I will be at the Rincon Casino. I vote Joshua Tree if there is no rock climbing. My truck is stock. Over night is a possibility.

    Berdoo is all easy fireroad stuff but for a few spots. Old Dale Mine road I am not sure (i think harder then Berdoo).. In Johnson Valley there is anything from easy to the hammers that our trucks can't make..

    If we do berdoo, have lunch in Joshua tree and then exit via old dale mine road. we wouldnt go by a booth to pay. then go to johnson valley to set up camp near meads lake. that night and in the morning we could check out trails in johnson valley before packing up and heading out...

    it gets pretty chilly in johnson valley at night though. i dont mind but if we camp out bring warm stuff
