I've been sitting in it for a little over an hour now and its still comfy. So good so far. More stable then I thought and WAY light.

Is that the one that doesn't stand up by its self? You have to like balance while sitting in it?

No that doesn't look to be the butterfly chair or whatever brand it is. I just got back from a backpacking trip and my buddy had his butterfly and I have one the exact same as the REI green chair in the above pic just different brand. They have their trade offs. He has a slightly lighter chair on one hand however he can't lean forward too much comfortably where I can. On the flip side I have tk be careful when I get up and make sure the rubber leg feet pieces don't get left behind in the dirt. But mine isn't an REI brand so maybe their rubber feet are stuck on better.

Sitting in either chair for an extended amount of time, say 30 min-1 hr and I start to feel some construction against my legs since the chair is tight but that's my trade off for saving weight and still having a nice chair.

and highly entertaining for the rest of your camp mates :D

Taking inventory on my gear today and making sure everything is packed up properly for the summer. Now if the weather would just improve enough to allow me to get out! :goingcrazy:

I love snow but thats probably because I only see/ get to play in it when I drive 2 hours to get to it. Same with rain, its absolutely amazing even when camping we just never get any

I believe its some form of season others experience in between winter and construction season. So far I have not seen it and deem it to only be myth.

agreed. one year ago this weekend I was out in my RTT for the first time and it was a monsoon. I'm determined that my first trip this year will be drier.

:notsure: I think its those things that hold up the front of our trucks

same for that "fall" thing that people talk about...

thought I would post some photos of our camping trip this past weekend. these are from the ichetuchknee springs in Fort White, Florida. They have a two hour kayak trail. I had been drinking since early, try to take a guess which one I am, haha.
