I've been working on my Private Pilot License this summer. Hopefully I'll be done before the summer is over. I just completed my first solo last week and I have my solo cross country coming up pretty quick.

My Dad is a Pilot. We had a couple of planes when I was a kid, and thru highschool. First plane was a Cessna 172 (Zero 8 Lima), and then he got a Beech Craft A36TC (N63JM). The Beech was a FUN plane. Fast, agile, very stable. He now flies a Cessna Conquest, and he Co Pilots in a Lear 45. I was in a few emergency landings with him as a kid, and that killed my desire to get my license, but it sure is fun! :)

I started my Special Ops Solo program at the begining of this month- I'll be soloing this weekend and I begin Navy Flight school in Sept.

If all goes well-I'll be flying a Coast Guard helicopter within 2 years.

Try a F-18 with two seats.
    An F-4 D is better.

I got an F-16 familiarizing flight about a month ago at Luke AFB. Good grief, I've never threw up so many times, but man was that the most awesome experience of my life.

I wanted to go in the Marines as an officer, hopefully as an F/A-18 pilot, but current findings in my medical history disqualify me from not only flight status in the military but military service totally. Looks like I'll be stuck flying in these:

Craziest thing I've flown in as a passenger (in this case, cargo, really - haha) was an Army National Guard CH-47. Crazy stuff 'cause we went out over the ocean. I'll try to post pictures later.

I am a corporate pilot in Tucson, but I don''t fly anyting as fast as an F-16. I am stuck flying TBMs and small multis. Congrats on your first solo. I started flying when I was 19 and going to school for my aircraft mechanic certs.

I did a solo flight to Waco today. It was only about 80nm round trip. Great flight though. I can't wait to do a really long solo cross country.

Yeah um...Thats a little bit above Private Pilot. It's more like
    mixture full rich,
knock on the airspeed to make it unstuck,
open throttle and listen to the engine cough for a little bit to 2500rpm,
45KIAS hang on tight for the shake of your life,
    55KIAS rotate,
60KIAS pray that the wings will hold...
70KIAS look down and make sure you didnt leave a wheel on the runway...

Awesome CB setup, TRD leaf springs, matching camper shell...more to come some day.
Im in Primary right now at NAS Whiting Field. T-34C. Its really fun (when an instructor isnt busting your for something :) ) Of course we dont know what our fleet aircraft will be until later, but its cool.

The T-34C is fun, agile, fast (compared the the C172 I flew in IFS), and aerobatic capable. I should be going for my first solo in this aircraft in about 5 flights.

The C-172 is a great plane though as well! Its fun, easeir to learn on, and very forgiving.

Oh, by the way, congrats on your first solo!!!! I remember mine in the C-172, even though it was 3 stop and goes, I still felt like Mavrick when I was tieing it down.

Lets see...IN '06 they bought out like 40 smaller heli. companies, were the largest Robinson dealer and they had a revenue of 50 million...As of Feb. of this year they had assets of 60k...On Feb 8th I do believe, they called everyone and told them to drop off any company vehicles and aircraft had to be taken back to certain areas...EVERYONE lost their job in one day...:mad:
