Damn - There are some good bowlers on here up until two years ago I was bowling on a mixed league - carried a 192 average, alot of 600 series, a few 700 series, high game 279 ( its a bummer to throw 10 strikes in a row- get all that adrenaline flowing and screw the 10th frame.
I had a crowd start to gather after 8 strikes in a row and by the time i got to the tenth frame there were 20+ people watching and I screwed it up.

Yeah ^^^ been there more than once... its rough. I'm actually considering trying to go pro here at the end of the season (May) and see if I can't compete. Competing in a pro tournament is one of my goals before I hit 25, just may do it a couple years early!

glad to see there are fellow bowling tacoma owners :headbang:

219 avg is awesome. currently i'm avg'n 209, but i started the season at 200. I bowled my 1st 300 before i turned 18 while i was in the junior leagues. The big 8 still taunts me, closest i've gotten was 791  haha

Turning pro would be a dream, i say go for it man, full force.

I've had a slow couple weeks... Few weeks ago, two days in a row I rolled 730s. But I'm getting to the point where anything south of 660 is a tough series. I'm puttin the work in, I'm tryin to do er, cards just gotta fall right for me to go pro.

Yes thank you ... i believe 300 and bowling correlate w/ each other.

But thanks again for pointing that out.

I bowled in college. Carried a 203 avg. through my junior year (our team started my junior year and I only bowled the one season).

I do miss the competition, though. Now, all I get is either a stupid rec league where my teammates are more interested in costumes, or going with friends who get bored by the 5th frame.

I suck at bowling... but when I was in 6th grade a friend of mine (6th grade too) bowled multiple 300s in a single day.... he was in some junior league... and bowled everyday for hours... I just played video games in the arcade ... I wonder what ever happened to him ... I forgot his name we ended up at different high schools
