    I remember watching that live, they replayed it like 15 time in slow motion. It still makes me cringe.

    I remember that as also. That was a killer to watch. "Cringe" is an appropriate way to describe the way I felt as well!

    I didn't watch it, but it's almost a mythical injury at this point. The broadcasters always reference it when someone gets really messed up; like the Theisman injury is the gold standard.

    "Bob, so and so got really fucked up on that play"
    "Sure did Jim. It reminds me of the Theisman injury"
    "Well Bob, I didn't vomit in my mouth when I watched it, so it may not be that bad."

    I wanted to put up Tim Krumrie breaking his leg in the Super Bowl, but I couldn't find it.

    Coincidently,I was in my hospital bed watching that game the night before one of my knee surgeries.........Needless to say It did NOT cheer me up:eek:.......Krumrie's was brutal too.

    like i said earlier today in another thread.....sorry he got hurt, but it is football, and these things will happen. he's out for the season now....guarantee you the pats are gonna be cryin before too long. athletes these days piss me off. getting payed all that $$$......and sit out with a sore pinkie!!!!:rolleyes: gimme a friggin break!!!

    Every year the company I work for has a seminar before Christmas where they have people talk to us and give promotions, awards, etc. Last year one of our speakers was Joe Theismann. He's shorter in person than you would think.
