Camping Shower

Does anyone use a portable shower for camping? I am trying to get ideas to make my own shower that can use engine or campfire heat for hot water. There are plenty available to buy but I don't want to spend a lot on a shower if I can make one.
I was thinking about running copper line or a heat exchanger under the hood with a 12v water pump that is hooked up to the truck. If not that, use a fire to heat a pot of water then hook up the 12v water pump to that pot. Have a thermometer and once the water gets to 100 deg. shut off the heat source and you will have hot water the shower.
Trying to save money and have a shower available if needed for the family.

 

5gallon bucket with a hose bib in the bottom. Somehow attach a sprinkler can head to that. Works like a charm!

 

they have these black shower bags you can get at your local sports and outdoors store that heats up the water pretty good even scalding hot sometimes. No power need except gravity to feed water down. They work good.

want to add that that's what they are made for, just so you don't think that its some rigged thing.

^ I've used that before also. As long as you're not in the woods with no sun seeping through, this will work great. you just have to leave it out in the sun. Either this or take cold showers.

 

I thought about the bag but like MjonAgs32 said the problem is there might not be sunlight. I was putting out a feeler to see if anyone has made their own shower. If someone has please post a pic or description of it. Thanks in advance.

 

The bucket idea! We use it at camp all the time. Heat your water over a fire. A gallon of hot water is more than enough to shower

I don't use mine anymore because I have this now



If I camp at a place that I can't bring my travel trailer, then it's the kind of camping where no one showers
