Oilers have plenty of young talent on their team, and GMs want some of that while the Oilers are trying to acquire grit, d-men, or a decent goalie. I don't think Ryan Miller or Vanek are headed to EDM since both are UFAs after this season -unless there's conditional picks sent the other way.

And I agree, but from what I've heard it's 2 young guns + for any thing they've asked, to think the oilers offered ALOT for Schneider, now I know why Vancouver didn't do it but man

Stopped to gas up the Taco on the way in to work this afternoon, and bumped into Hall of Famer and now part owner of the Hurricanes Ron Francis. He really is a nice guy. Didn't get to talk much due to his phone ringing off the hook. Still pretty cool.
