That is the way the Oiler players saw it , the way the tv announcers saw it , and just so you are not confused , NY Rangers forward Erik Christensen told the NY Post , and I quote " It looked to me like he suckered him ; I'm not going to deny it . I mean everyone could see that . "

Big brawls just don't happen anymore in the NHL , unless there is something that happens that really disgusts one of the teams . The players on the ice knew what had just happened was bullshit , what is your excuse ?

ya you're right avery isnt a fighter because if he was he would have fought face to face. avery is more of a plug than anything.

 

1 ) true , Avery is most definitely not a fighter , he is a POS pest that starts shit , but depends on his teammates to clean up his mess

2 ) Avery is most definitely an effective agitator of the opposing players , as well as many of his former teammates

3 ) I'm in BC , and my home team is the Canucks , last time I looked at the standings the Rangers were 4th in the east with 21 points , the Canucks are 3rd in the west with 23 points , and a game less played .

Why are you getting so uptight that some of us think Avery is a POS ? It's nothing to do with the Rangers , or the fact that he is playing for the Rangers . This is nothing new for him . If it makes you feel any better , he was a douche when he played with the Red Wings , Kings , and Stars as well .

im not uptight at all....i think avery is one funny bastard and when he is on his game he plays well for the money and everything else he brings just brings others off there game....
most of the time it works out .....but the refs have taken exception and now call him for things he does not even do...
but i was standing up for him when he jabbed that dude in the face the other night....avery did not start that ....but once you start something just dont close your eyes and take ur eye off the game or lights out time....
