Like everything in the supplement world everyone has their opinion on what works or doesn't. The first thing you'll notice about it "working" or at least getting absorbed is that your pee will be nuclear yellow. I try to stay away from multivitamins with over 1000% of anything and that only require one a day because how much quality stuff can you really fit into 1 pill? I've read a lot of stuff saying children's multivitamins are the best because they DON'T have 500% vitamin C, B, etc.

Also with B vitamin complex some people get mouth sores (like me) and I never really noticed an energy increase with them. If you want B vitamins just about every "health" (vitamin water, sobe lifewater, etc.) and energy drink have loads of them.

The TL/DR of it is-take what you want, no one really knows what's best.

After your system has absorbed all it needs you will be flushing out the leftover.

But to me I would rather know I have enough than wonder..

And since I think they cost like $20 for a month and a half it's not like your wasting a large amount of money.

    My 27 cents haha

I've been taking multivitamins for years. I'm not a fitness nut, but I exercise almost every single day of the year. The main reason I take them is to even things out. They might give you a slight boost too, but I think it's more important to not fall into ruts and valleys. My energy and mood are far more stable when I take my vitamins.

I agree that a few smaller doses might be better than one large dose. You do probably want to avoid taking things too close to bed time to get better nights sleep. If you take those "fancy" vitamins you'll spend a lot of money on a slight edge. You might want to start with cheaper vitamins and see how they affect you. I just take One A Day/Centrum or similar.

I have a child's grasp of medicine and nutrition, so there's not much value in those words.

Liquid is absorbed 80% better than tablets. Go with liquid if u can. I get "viva" from Costco. Good tasting too.

The GNC packs are okay, they come with a variety of different stuff depending which one you want. I took them for awhile until I got tired of downing 6 or 7 pills a day. Other than fish oil/krill oil and vitamins I didn't care about the rest of them so I take the aforementioned and nothing else.

You can try different stuff, the nice thing about GNC is if the product doesn't agree with you for some reason you can take it back. Same with Vitamin Shoppe plus VS is cheaper, their member card is free, and if you buy supplements a lot you get rewards at the end of the year.

I've been taking Optimum Nutrition's Opti-Men for awhile now. I really like them but thought about trying Animal Pak instead to see which I like more.
