A few highlights of Bama in there... Not sure how old they were. I was looking forward to playing Georgia again this year, but y'all lucked out w/ your schedule for a second year in a row.

This is a good vid of VT against Bama.....I especially like the section starting at 22 seconds.... It was a good game back and forth and VERY close all the way through. I'm looking forward to next year, until then.....:)

I almost forgot how much fun it was to watch Mark Ingram run.

Yeah... I prefer not to look back that far...

Takeover of what? A weak-ass conference? Or better yet, tell us again how you fare against real teams... I wish I could find the link of LSU's D-lineman running down the duckies much vaunted and ballyhooed RB from behind, not once but twice...

Not to stir the pot and no offense given, but the duckies aren't world beaters. And it's a little old how their fanbase thinks they are. Hell, even when they played the 'burn, they only faced the 60-something ranked defense and still couldn't win. Really? Takeover?

And before anyone gets theirs in a twist, just funnin w/ ya...:D

Not a falcons fan or before your time?
    http://www.atlantafalcons.com/history/ring-of-honor/tommy-nobis/

[qoute]Nobis was the first–ever player drafted by the Atlanta Falcons for the inaugural 1966 season and quickly became the first–ever Falcons player to be voted to the Pro Bowl after being selected as a rookie. The stellar middle linebacker was named the NFL Rookie of the Year for his efforts. He attended a total of five Pro Bowls during his career.
Dubbed “Mr. Falcon,” Nobis led the team in tackles in nine of his 11 seasons, while earning five trips to the Pro Bowl. In a poll conducted in 1970 by ABC to pick the best athlete of the decade of the 1960s, running back O.J. Simpson was number one and Tommy Nobis was number two in the entire country. He had an astronomical 296 total combined tackles as a rookie, still the club’s all-time single-season record. Nobis also intercepted 11 passes during his pro career, returning two for touchdowns. His uniform, No. 60, has been worn only by him during the team’s existence. He retired in 1976 and was inducted into the Georgia Sports Hall of Fame shortly after (1983).[/qoute]

Some flags and center console divider... lots of things on the wanted list.
Keep in mind every team has their disillusioned fans. Oregon just happens to have a lot more than are only used to the winning side of the Ducks. I have been watching long enough to remember the days where 8-4 was reason to celebrate.
Oh, and the Oregon/LSU game... I can tell you how many time the D-linemen illegally used hands to the face, facemasking, illegal chop blocking to get where they needed to go. But, thats only because I was at the game and got to see it first hand.

Oregon's D-line coach is like the martial arts teacher from Napolean Dynamite. He teaches rex-quan-do to his players.

Football fans love to say that their blood runs "orange and blue" or "red and black" or "purple and gold."

    That's all silly.....

    Everybody bleeds Crimson.
