How low should a chest protector be on your torso? I've read that it should go down to your waist but have also read it should be at about your belly button so that when you ride it doesn't hit your waist and push up the should pads.....? :notsure:

My chest protector fits right below my rib cage so when I'm sitting it doesn't pinch my stomach.

Stoked to see Honda's CRF450 rally bike. They've been away from the Dakar for quite a few years. Good to see them back rally racing.

P.S. Dakar bikes have to be plated. Hopefully, that means it can be plated here.

    Check out youtube.

It's not hard once you know the technique. Get yourself a good set of tire spoons, a new heavy duty tube, and of course the tire. You just gotta work at it till you get the hang of it.

I was watching a video of a buddy installing Mousses in one of his tires-he's heading for the Dakar next month-and it takes him about 5 minutes for the rear.

I know it takes me more than that on the side of the trail :)

lol It takes me like 20 minutes to change a tube, but I suck at it. That's why I spend the money on heavy duty tubes.

Its easy. Like everyone tell you, get good tire spoons. And i use dishsoap on the bead and baby powder on the tube to keep it from twisting or getting pinch when mounting the tire.

Biggest tip is you MUST make sure the tire is not on the bead of the rim. As you work it around keep pushing the tire off the bead and into the valley of the rim
