nice. Black tunnels always give sleds a better appearance imo.

isn't winter awesome when you have a sled?

Holy chit, I've done a lot already!!
I second that, I hate my natural tunnel. PITA to make look nice, and when you do, it lasts about 2.2 miles.

Congrats on the new Doo Judy!!!

Thank you. Yes I love the all black. I wasn't sure at first but in person it really looks good. Can't wait to see it on snow. Winter is the best especially out on the sled. Can't wait.

x2 thank you! Bring on the snow everyone happy trails on and off! :woot:

Updated my ride again this year. Not much snow in town but the mtns are great if it's clear enough.

Projects completed for this winter: long tracked from 121 to 144, changed out top gear, slydog skis, handlebar riser, and handguards. Now I just need to find some snow for both of them! :headbang:

Next on the to-do list: wash them both... they are dirty!
So how is everyone making out this season? Judy, you like the new Doo? We are heading for our annual Adirondack trip this Friday, I am stoked!!
I have only been a couple of hundred miles (two trips) this year.
The snow in Vermont was great than it rained than glacier ice storm than brutal cold so no snow, very, very limited riding.
People are going up to the NEK but its snirt or riding in circles with a solid ice base.
Plus I have a sick family member so haven't been able to justify a trip to Quebec though my friends have gone.
Just worried and am grateful for what I have been able to doo.
As far as my new Doo, I love it so far.
The R Motion tends to keep the front end more planted than my SC5 rear skid.
It is harder to lift the skis & not even out of break in mode yet.
I did season the belt for the first 30 miles than ripped it across Island Pond.
Before I did I reset the top speed in the gauge so when done the dream meter showed the pic below lol.....
musta had some track spin for there was hardly any snow on the ice.
The sled is pretty darn quick though for a 600. I like it!! :)

Where are you going for your trip?? I hope you have a great time!!!

Here is the dreamometer pic

I am sooo bummed... I haven't even started my sled this season. I've only put the stickers on it so far! :( But we don't have the best snow this year, and I'm staying EXTREMELY busy with my Paramedic Program I'm in right now. So if I had to choose a crappy season, this would be it!

Hope you all are finding some good white fluff to tear up, tho! ;)
