    How are the Saints overrated?

    Since Katrina

    2006 - 10/6 Lost NFL Champ
    2007 - 7/9 No PS
    2008 - 8/8 No PS
    2009 - 13/3 Superbowl Champs
    2010 - 11/5 Lost WC
    2011 - 13/3 Lost Div Round
    2012 - 7/9 Bountygate BS
    2013 - 9/2 thus far

    2 losing records
    1 even record
    5 above average seasons
4 post season with 2 NFC championship appearances and 1 Superbowl championship in 8 years with another post season this year.

I'd hardly call that overrated. Saints have top 5 offense and defense this year. Numbers don't lie, fool.

Nothing wrong with that hit on Brees. Backer had his hand up to capture a throwing arm and knock the ball down if possible, SOP. Brees still had the ball and would try to escape if he doesn't wrap him up. Nothing like being fined for doing your job.

Brees needs to go work on his neck muscles, peripheral vision, and spidey sense. And get a fresh tube of Vagisil.

You need to put down the amyl nitrite and get some fresh air because you're beginning to hallucinate. Hell, they barely showed up against a 2-8 Falcons team last night. Sorry, but Taints win in Seatown jus' tain't gonna happen.

Holy shit another Raider fan. I'll alert the media.

Looking forward to some more McGloin against the Titans, but Moore is out. I like Streater a lot though, and Rivera is starting to perform. I hate the stupid fucking reverses they run with Ford, and he's had some shitty ball handling so far this season. Not much depth in the receiver corps...

He is better than Welker when he plays. Better hands, faster, just not as rugged... But when he is healthy we're good. And if he's not as good as welker, Edelman definitely is, and Edelman is just as rugged as welker, if not more rugged. I mean a big hit will knock anyone out, but I'll agree that Amendola is the man of glass. He is younger, and he hasn't dropped the ball in the Super Bowl when it hit his hands either... He is finally off the injury report, so hopefully he will stay healthy for us. He's had some big plays the last couple games, and probably is the best move we made as far as signing someone in the off season, since the rest of our newly acquired guys can't catch a bullet at a Hernandez house party...

A lot of receivers are faster and have better hands than Welker. Those aren't Welkers strong points... How long did he play there?... I figured you pats fans would know that. Welker is one of the best in the league at reading a defense and knowing where to be and when to be there. The guy is open at some point on almost every play. He is an extremely savvy receiver.

Same could be Said for Amendola. He is younger with less experience so he's not as good at that, but give him time and I think he will be just as good. Edelman is definitely just as good, and can play more positions than welker can. Dot get me wrong, I love welker, I named my friggin dog after him. I just think we have really really good, close alternatives, that may be better now that they are getting exposure and the chance to develop. We pretty much relied on Edelman to carry our passing game for the first 7ish games...

LOL hey Hawks fans, just take off your anti-niner glasses for one second and see that I'm just asking for consistency. And if you follow sports outside the city of Seattle, you'll realize that NFLN, ESPN, CSN, and other sports stations are all talking about the same thing. Bad call, non call, whatever call, doesnt matter. Just as long as its consistent so players know how to adjust

Did we get replacement refs again this year? It seems like there has been a lot of fucked up shit going on with them...

Same refs. But the rules are changing and the refs are trying to get used to it just like the players are. It's all starting from the top because Goodell is getting hit with lawsuits left and right.

It's funny, players that have careers in broadcasting under the NFL are all saying the same thing: player safety is priority, etc blah blah. Then you have the players who are guest speakers on some of these shows, no affiliation with the NFL and telling it how it is, saying the NFL has changed and players cant do shit etc.

Well, we can try to blame it on that, but the no call against matty ice, the no call against the pats... Those have nothing to do with player safety or rule change.

Yeah scocar, im looking forward to see if McGloin can follow up his first start with another good game. and I agree we are very weak in our reciever corps, but Jennings is a big improvment over McFadden who has been a huge disapointment.

McGloin looked very comfortable and confident given the scenario. Stays in the pocket more, doesn't run around in circles at the slightest provocation. But they still did not exhibit the ability to get 3rd down conversions and prolong a drive down the field. I am looking for that this weekend. I hope I see it. Yeah, I feel the same about McFadden. He's been very frustrating, glimpses of brilliance overshadowed by long terms of inactivity because of ongoing injuries or just really stupid up-the-gut runs with inadequate blocking and that just don't suit his strengths. Jennings seems to have more power and a better, lower CG, even thought they are similar in stature.

Yeah, since Amendola was nicked up or out almost all that time..Gronk wasn't playing..who else did he have with any experience?
