I'm going to go off for a minute about the Seahawks and the Broncos.

I'm going to rant, bitch and trash talk about the Broncos. If you don't want to read this, skip it. Fair warning.

The Denver Broncos, the organization ... from the fans up to their owner are the biggest bitch whiny bunch of pussies I've ever seen from a sports team.

You got stomped in the Super Bowl, was it flukey ... absolutely. However, you were thoroughly out coached, you were dominated in the physical department, and the your effort was a fucking embarrassment from the first snap. You quit WAY before the game was out of hand.

Ok ok .. so you know these this because you're not stupid so you go and spend a ton of money on defense. Great. Enough about the Superbowl.

You come to Seattle talking all kinds of shit and you get beat. You played better yes, congratulations. You didn't roll over because well you're not suppose to. For 3.5 quarters your offense looked like shit. You still don't have any threat of a run game and ZERO physicality.

A couple of fluky plays go your way, safety and the interception, and we gift you back into the game. Then, Manning puts together an awesome drive and you tie it up.

We get the ball in OT ... absolutely fucking stomp on your throat and you can't even try to get in the way. Your new physical high priced defense get's run OVER.

GAME OVER.

So, the COIN TOSS cost you the game? The fucking coin toss?!? How about that new fucking defense who just got their shit handed to them ... did that cost you the game? NO? Well it must at least worth mentioning right?!?!

Every article I read talks about how this game was so different, "You have all your guys now, and then you add some of the guys we did, and it's a different game and that's what it was today." - Chris Harris ... It was a different game? YOU FUCKING LOST YOU TWIT.

It was a different game, it was game 3 of the 2014 season, that went into overtime at 20-20, not the Superbowl, that ended at 48-6. The broncos lost, take your win and go fuck yourself if you can't win with honor.

 

I'm a perfectly good winner. I'll break down game and see why I think Seattle won or lost. When they lose I say GG and talk about why they lost. I'm only responding to poor losers my man.

Why the rant. I HATE the 49er's ... but I respect them. I may not respect their coach but I respect the hell out of Frank Gore, Vernon Davis, Justin Smith and most of their players. I don't think... as a matter of fact I Know they would NEVER say this kind of shit. They would say "We didn't play good enough."

I can't even imagine after allowing an offense to go 80 yards on 13 plays Justin Smith saying "If the coin flip was different I think our offense scores and we win"

Even you have to admit those quotes are odd man ... they really show how much the Hawks are in their heads. IMO, they are going to be so focused on SEA they're going to get tripped up in the AFC.

Completely agree, and no I'm not an unrealistic, die hard Bronco fan like many in Colorado. I was rooting for Denver, but actually expected them to lose.

 

2-1 to the hawks is better than 2-1 to the chargers...

I didn't expect 16-0. Even the best lose 2, 3, 4 games a year. May as well lose one to an AFC team on the road. For playoff seedings I'll take that all day long if you have to lose a couple.

SD played a hell of a game tho on offense. Rivers looked like ... Peyton Manning when he's not playing the Seahawks

The OT rule in the NFL is completely retarded. Either let em play a whole quarter, or at least let each offense have the ball once. If the team that wins the Coin toss scores a TD on their drive, kick off and let the other team try to score. If they can't score, game over. Basically, just like it is now, EXCEPT not just for FGs. They moved in the right direction when they did that, but take it that next step.

 

How long until they give the Quarterback and receivers flags. If you play football and make 100,000+ then expect to get concussions. Another DB was flagged for a clean hit tonight in the Monday night game and it's a freaking joke.

 

Unfortunately it's just what we're going to be stuck with for a while. Just like the pitcher friendly non-steroid era happening in baseball right now. They are still in the enforcement period, in a few years players will adjust and you'll see a different game.

It won't be but a few years where players will be wearing G force detectors. If the alarm goes off you will come out of the game regardless of symptoms. It will happen because ex-NFL players are going to keep suing the shit out of the NFL and winning.

The changes are just beginning.

 

Completely agree. And for those saying he is a poor winner you should find an archive of Monday's noon radio show on 104.3 The Fan in Denver. Those guys are obviously massive Broncos fans and went on a similar rant as above about how they couldn't stand the players or the Denver Post complaining about the coin toss costing them the game. They even went on to point out the Broncos had 13 chances to stop the Seahawks from reaching the end zone in OT. A field goal, punt, or turnover and the Broncos would have given their offense a chance to do something. The defense cost the Broncos the game, not which side of the coin landed face up on the turf. People claiming the coin toss cost them the game are poor losers, plain and simple.

 

I hear ya. The issue I have is with the dumb refs throwing flags after every hit on the receiver, then later the NFL office saying it was a clean hit. This is happening in both College and the NFL. The 15 yard penalty still stands and it can cost the team a game.

 

Or they can blow a play dead when it should be a fumble recovery for a TD, like last night.

Not a fan of the Bears or the J E S T, but you could argue the one TD margin of victory should have been another OT game.
