Yep that was a good play, I had a feeling Medlen was gonna give up a bomb, he always scares me when he pitches, just hope they can get it back in bottom of 15th

Funny that I had a bad feeling when Laroche came up for that at bat.

Stupid ump calling strikes almost in the dirt just because he is ready to go to the house, if he dont wanna work he oughta quit

After that terrible call Shaffer knew he had to swing

Oh well cant win em all and definitely cant beat the other team and the ump

ichiro Susuki has reached 4,000 hits combined in the U.S. and Japan do you think this is as legitimate as Cobb's or Roses 4,000 hits?

    Not comparable

If the Japan league was comparable we would have more of their players in our MLB than what we have, or we would be playing them somehow within our league

1278 of Ichiro`s hits were in Japan

Only a small percentage of their players are and have played in our MLB

I still give him props, 4k hits is a great accomplishment, 2722 hits in our major league is an accomplishment that many players never meet

Is he a good player ? of course he is .
    A .320 batting average is awesome .

It`s just too bad that his talent has been wasted in Seattle and New York :D
