I'd rather give it to my cousin than an SEC East "everybody gets a trophy and a snack" ring.

 

Also... Not sure why they put three trophies on there... The NCs weren't consecutive, and most players on the team have only won one or two.

Saban's really big on each team accomplishing it's own goals. When people talk about the previous year's team, he's always quick to say, "This team hasn't won anything. That was last year's team."

I guess complaining about having THREE trophies on the ring is a good problem to have....

and y'all barely beat Georgia and beating Notre Dame was like beating a high school team. Cant wait to see y'all play LSU and especially Texas A&M. Can you say "Roll tears Roll"?

 

How about comparing each team's only loss? Bama lost by 5 point if I remember correctly. UGA lost by 28.

 

Didn't Barrett Jones play in all 3 games?

 

Dude... Read most of my comments in this thread. I was saying it in jest. I don't get easily offended, especially not about football on an internet forum. I think your fellow Jawga fans will back me up on that.

Yeah... he and a few others. And for the record, I don't have a PROBLEM w/ having the three trophies. I just think it's odd since they weren't 3 consecutive titles, and the majority of players were there for one or two of them, not all three.

Like I said before, though... If THAT'S what I'm complaining about, then I'm living a pretty good fan-life right now.

 

Both teams dropped a deuce on their own feet in their losses. Georgia didn't really recover from theirs. Alabama came back in the second half and had a couple of opportunities to beat A&M, but couldn't get it done.

I still think they were the best two teams in the country at the end, and the SECC was pretty clearly the NC game.

 

I can't wait til next season. Hopefully we won't shit our pants against better competition this time.

I never said I was giving up on them. I'm actually kind of excited about having some hungry guys out there wanting to prove themselves. But during the season last year it felt like now or never for a championship with so many on D leaving.
