Any advice for a freshman besides "go to class" and "study"?

 

Go ducks! Where do you live at btw? I may try to find tix to that game

 

Not to be a dick or start a war but I f-ing HAAATTEEE the ducks. So sick and tired of driving around Seattle and seeing different colored O's on cars. GTFO. Classic UW Oregon rivalry I guess. And I hate how Oregon gets good and people I know suddenly become fans. UW sucks and I still love them.

Anyways, I also live in Auburn. We may go to the Oregon game as well. New stadium cant wait.

 

When I was a kid - ANYWHERE YOU FUCKING WANT. Where the practice fields are, the baseball field, the lacrosse field.....all beer swilling tailgating areas now gone.

I love progress and going big, but damn!!! What about us little people that helped build that joint?

I park in the field across from the stadium. It works for now until something else goes up!!

 

So you haven't seen MATT arena yet either?

Pretty sick place also. Hayward field got a facelift and was amazing for the Olympic trials. Campus has some insane new buildings too.

Nope. Haven't been to Eugene in a few years. I didn't go back to Oregon often. I'm not a fan of the area my family lives..

 

Can't believe kickoff is just around the corner. fucking goosebumps ! ! !

I WISH we had a tough 3 game start like the East teams have. I hate the patsy bitches we play to start the season.....alot like Oklahomo (who admitted back in the day they schedule sissy la las so they can rank high to begin the season)

Marcus Mariota wakes up on time, you won’t find him at an Oregon State frat party, and he doesn’t even have a twitter account. In a summer where Johnny Manziel reached Tim Tebow levels by – among other things – wearing a Tim Tebow jersey at a University of Texas fraternity party, nobody is talking about Mariota.

But Marcus had a better passer rating and better yards per carry average than Manziel last season. He also threw six more touchdowns and three fewer interceptions

The numbers suggest that Super Mario should be getting at least a little bit of the hype that Johnny Football is. But he’s not. And that’s just the way he likes it.

“I don’t like the limelight. I tend to live a little low key,” said Mariota. “[Manziel] has done a good job of embracing it, he’s done a good job of showcasing himself and Texas A & M. For me, I like to live a little quieter. I come from a small island, and that’s just how I am.”

^stay classy. I understand if you don't like JF, but why do you feel the need to call him names? You don't know him.

As far as Mariota I think that's a valid argument, but don't forget the one decent defense he faced last year it was ugly. Even in JF's worst games he scored more, Mariota is a great player no doubt.

 

I'll stay classy but that dude is in the news for mostly - ALL THE WRONG REASONS.

And yes....Marcus hopefully learned from that game and corrects it.
