Yep, sad sight to see for sure. I witness a lot of downfall to United this year. Heck, I saw it coming even last year with all the Home losses suffered. It was time for a change and SAF knew it. He got his last silverware and retired on top to now teach at Harvard!

No matter what, I wear my United gear with pride. However I do strip my colours off after a poor showing (Many times this season). Its been a hard season to watch. Like Arsenal, I can't imagine how much better we'd be with RVP. I believe we'd finish top 4 if we had him. Ohhhh well. . .

 

It's nothing unless we win it. When it then becomes the most ancient, prestigious prize in world sport.

City has a game in hand with the win today. They can tie Liverpool and be ahead on Goal Differential. ​

^ Of course I do. As a United supporter for quite some time. You'd know why if you knew the history. City doesn't even matter when the topic comes to Liverpool. This rate, I support both Blues in the race to the title. I'd rather Chelsea get it, then City, then Arsenal, then everyone else in the BPL (EPL). Then to see Liverpool get their first in the BPL. ​

 

Real bumped ze germans out of the finals. Now it's up to Chelsea to make it or it's a Spanish Finals.

I get the history but c'mon. You don't live in either Manchester or England. You've gotta want Stevie G to get one medal for all his work. Besides, what has more history than the cross town foe. City was the enemy before SAF made MUFC a great club.

 

Athleti will not beat Real, but it's a win/win. Jose looks stupid for missing La Decima while Simeone already did so.

Sucked Everton couldn't get it done Saturday. That was a ridiculous goal by Barkley in the first. Maybe Villa can somehow manage a good result. Must have 3 points today for an outside chance.

What's up with Man Utd losing to Sunderland?

 

The lesson for today boys and girls is to take your 3 pts when you have them. Earning 3 points today was more important that goal differential imo.

 

That was a hard lesson learned, was an interesting second half to say the least.

I completely agree with Jaime Carragher on his comments after the match. The same thing almost happened to Liverpool at Norwich. You can't win championships and concede so many goals. Skrtel and Sakho need help at the back. Carra was saying he wasn't sure why Rodgers doesn't put Agger back there. All I know is 3 points in the table were a lot more important than scoring more goals. I really wanted the league win for Gerrard because of the mark he has left on the game and has been so loyal to LFC. This draw stings bad and will continue to ache for a while but that's what makes this league so great. You have to fight so hard every week and one little slip somebody will take everything you've worked so hard for in a second. I don't see City dropping 2 games. But it's been one crazy season.....who knows what lies ahead.

 

City needs 4 points from 2 games to lock it up, all Liverpool can do now is just regroup, and get these last 3 points at all costs. We cannot afford to drop anymore points. The title is out of our hands but anything can happen. 2-losses, 2-draws, 1 win-loss, are all possible in this league, you cant say anything until it's mathematically impossible.

I agree it's still possible. We won't know who wins the league until Sunday afternoon. Imagine the importance of Liverpool's match on Saturday if Villa were to take all 3 points from City tomorrow.
