Somebody needs to beat Lagano's ass. That was a STUPID move on his part. Denny gave him plenty of room. And his "got what he deserved" comment during the post race interview? Denny went to the hospital. What a dick!

In his defense, not sure he knew that by then.

You could be right. But it was a dumb move that cost both of them a shot at the win & sent Hamlin to the hospital.

In case anyone missed it, here's the comical Stewart interview haha. Hope Hamlin is okay, that was a bloody hard hit he took. Haven't heard no news other than he was airlifted to a different hospital, the way he collapsed upon getting out of his car scared me. Not a good sign.

What really got me was when the reporter was like "Thanks Tony!" and walks off, Tony's like "Thank you!" Haha

The reporter's reaction was priceless. I like Tony's hard charging style, but I think he over reacted a bit. Not defending Joey, as he seems to have a chronic case of stepping on his own meat, but I doubt his blocking caused Tony to finish 22nd. If that's only how good his car was, he would have dropped back anyway.

well Stewart was coming with a full head of steam and probably would have passed Lagano if he hadn't made him check up.

He fell all the way back because he had to let up and at Fontana you have to be WOT or you are gonna get passed

Also I think he said it screwed up the splitter or somethin when he hit him/hit the apron, so that probaby screwed with his downforce and handling.

Yeah that was a big hit with the whole car comming off the ground. His health is more important in the long term so hopefully he gets well soon. Classic Tony interiew which is always good for the publicity and the censors.

Not saying Hamlins wreck was staged but I do wonder sometimes if these little after race tiffs are staged just a little bit for ratings.

Tony definitely over reacted. Doesn't any remember Talladega last year when Tony did some cock blocking on the 55 and started a 25 car wreck.

I'm heading down there for the truck race on Saturday April 6th. I just love it when the truck wreck. They break up into quite a few more parts than the Cup cars....

agreed! smoke has done his fair share of things he would bitch about if it was done to him. but his comments after the race were great. this is what this sport needs. some drama. some rivalry. those 2 things sellout or bring in the crowds.

i'm not defending Logano, can't stand the kid really. but i think his pride got in the way of him racing Hamlin going into turns 3/4. both them guys knew there was no way Logano was driving that car low with that kind of momentum, he was bound to slide up. Hamlin gave him room to slide up and he took it plus some. i guarantee had it been anyone else, or the weeks prior to the Hamlin altercation, Joey backs off. he didn't wreck hamlin on purpose, but his pride caused it IMO

i'll be at Martinsville weekend after next, ready to see Jimmie win it and what tempers flare back up!
