ok i have a question...everytime i see a video of the emaxx or erevo brushless versions it's like they are doing a wheelie half the time....is it cuz they don't have any throttle control?...i mean i know you can do it on purpose but like i don't wanna get one if all it's gonna do is pop wheelies the whole time...i want all four tires to stay on the ground so i can have traction and turn and such....would it be better to just get the regular version of the emaxx?...or can the brushless be controlled with less throttle?...it just looks easy for it to get out of control

"flashlights" have a ton of torque. You control the power by throttle and, or the slipper clutch

They provide a lot of juice, because of the Lipo and the brushless motor. If you put in a NiMh battery, it may settle it down a little (depending on how much volts the battery is).

The transmitter does have a nob that you can dial it down some, but there is something else you can do, and I would suggest it first.

Some guys will re-gear the pinion gear on the motor. So for example if you're running a 21 tooth pinion gear, you can go up to a 22 or 23 tooth gear to give it less torque, etc. Which will give the car less of a chance of doing a wheelie, and it will also add some top end speed in the process. Also you can re-gear the spur gear, but I would work with the pinion gear first. Hope that helps.

yeah i would just run the nimh batteries that come with it...i mean 50mph is fast enough...don't need to go 65mph with lipos.,..lol....i think most people just pull the trigger all the way....that's gonna make you do a backflip...lol....you gotta drive it like a real car...gradually pull the trigger farther

lol....but It's just so damn hard not punching the throttle all the way! Especially when you're playing in the field. :D

I think you have the right idea going with the NiMh battery first, then maybe in the future going with a Lipo

Contact this guy see if he willing to ship to you...From the look of it he's got atleast $500 + of parts put in this truck and that not adding the price of that R/C when he first bought it....That's dirt cheap I must say

well this shows you how crazy i am....i had a rc10t3 and a nitro rustler and a savage 25 awhile back....drove them for awhile then just kindof decided the nitro powered stuff was too much work and too much money to deal with...so there was a guy who had come to my parents house(i lived there at the time) to spray for bugs and stuff and he was saying how much he wanted some trucks and such and i felt sorry for him cuz i knew he didn't have the money to buy one so long story short i told him to take all the trucks, chargers, batteries, fuel, etc. etc. and have fun with them....no charge :)

i don't think you could go wrong with any of those...they are all awesome....erevo has lower ground clearance...more for a track type of riding or smooth surfaces since it has better handling and lower center of gravity....summit for crawling and going over things since it has really high ground clearance and not as fast as the other two....more of a crushing, climbing sort of vehicle....then the emaxx is as fast as the erevo with more ground clearance...better for jumping and not quite as good of handling...probably better for all around bashing fun as it's less likely to bottom out on jumps and such

^^^wow that helicoptor is awesome!!!....always wanted to try to fly one of those...just cost too much ....lol

Here you go, these are good servos. The JR650M, high torque, metal gears, good speed.
    Part #: JRPSZ650

If you want something better you're going to have to spend $100, the JR650M is around the $40-$50 range.
