One of the guys mentioned the Badlands tires, but at this moment flipper tires would not even work. It's just a weird thing that as happened before with this soil. It's so deep in some places the chassis "rides" on top and the tires can't reach anything firm. It's as fine as baby powder, the models look just like real desert racers when they hit the silt beds. Some rain, just to settle everything down will do wonders. We have always ran a damp/loamy track, instead of hard pack by using topsoil instead of clay, we are all old dirt bike riders, and like to see some roost. BTW, I thank you for the tread guides, I keep hearing something about JConcepts Sub Cultures, any thoughts?

Those should be good too, as long as they are in a soft or super soft compound

They seem very similar to AKA Cityblocks

That CityBlock reminds me of some Proline SnakeEyes, which "used" to work fairly well, along with Bowties, in soft, of course. BTW, the fellow that owns the property the tracks on, just confirmed, his new model arrived, a RC8.2e Factory Team, fuck, I'm gonna sell a kidney...

Badlands may help with that. They're a lot taller than other tires in their size, in a stadium truck style at least.

They're pretty easy...just a lot different. The gyro has two modes to it.. cruise and hover. In hover mode, its self correcting...feels very much like a coaxial helicopter. Cruise mode is more like a real helicopter only problem is ... even with all the colors I'm still having a hard time figuring out which direction its facing... its just not natural. Lol!

It's hard enough (for me anyways) to keep orientation correct on a heli that has a visual head and tail, with everything looking the same on those quad-rotors, again, I can't imagine.

Or paper towel, plastic bag does use a lot less paint though.

I'm just talking about the marbling. I don't really care about the other shit. Might little brother actually has an airbrush, and dad did auto body repair for a long time. Honestly I'd like to do it myself if I could figure it out. Is there anything that's good to practice stuff like that on?
