Dunno, I had an HPI Nitro Savage that blew the plastic off of the T-Maxx, i used to take that thing to Dumont Sand Dunes and launch it off the dunes and it would take 20ft of air and 30ft of length with no problem, even when it landed wrong the truck would just tumble down the dunes and take right back off. I always thought of Traxxas as the non R/C car enthusiast's R/C car, they are great out of the box and for playing with, but if you wanted something really good you would go with a Losi, HPI, Team Associated, GS, or Kyosho. Just my thoughts, LOL.

I would have to agree. I have an HPI Savage, and I BEAT the shit out of it. I'll take it off dirt bike jumps and launch it 20+ ft and land it in the flats. You don't understand how much abuse it will take, until you see it bounce off a tree from going 30mph and 20ft in the air. IT'S A BEAST. I would never do that to a Revo, sorry. They're more for racing.

When I bought my Savage, I asked the dealer who sold everything, "I want the truck that I can beat the shit out of and it will keep living". He said Savage hands down.

Ohh, and I have a roll-cage on it. That's a must IMO. I'll try to take some pics this weekend.

Just seen this quote. You may be right for "Stadium Trucks", but I don't really race them. Just beat them, and go fast. They advertise that mine will do 40mph+. I don't really know, but that plenty fast.

Different strokes for different folks I guess.

Yeah my Savage was monstrous, i loved that thing, to bad it had to go, when you have them you think you can't have enough R/C cars, until you look at your table and are like, that ones broke, that ones broke, and that ones broke, which one can i sell to get enough money to get parts for all the rest, LOL.

I actually have a jeep now. Imagine that.
I loooove savages. If i stayed nitro, i wouldn't get anything but a savage, however i'd make it brushless and li-po!
