hey guys, wondering how much it would cost me to get into an entry level electric R/C?

All I want to do is bash around, hit some jumps and rip around my neighbourhood, I dont care if it's 2wd or 4wd, big or small, what's my best bet, on the cheaper end price wise?... from what I hear traxxas is pretty good stuff?

Traxxas is great stuff for bashing!!!

You can pick you a 2wd slash for around 200 or the 4wd for around 300

I have the 4wd and it is fun as well. Sand, mud, water... You name it.. It will rip it!!!

If you look hard enough you could prob find one used in the 100-200 range in good shape.

I drive mine to the ground and have had it about a year with no maintenance.
All I do it wash it off and let it air dry and lube the bushings every couple weeks

For an all around basher you really can't beat it!!!

I think I got a couple videos on my YouTube channel as well

In reference to nitro flame outs: I couldn't kill my car to adjust my temp sensor so I just did it with the car running. #myshitrunsallday.

They have been teasing this for like a year and half
Its been a steady decline :(

But I highly doubt Nitro will completely disappear

well nitro's peak was nicad batteries because people liked racing longer than 3 minutes lol now that we have lipos capable to 10 minute mains, tracks moving indoors, and nitro fuel going up in cost along with the added bullshit of tuning vs just setting up the car.. it's no wonder it's on the decline. It wont completely disappear but it's already fairly niche lol

I've never understood the "nitro is hard to tune" argument, I've never had any trouble tuning any of my R/Cs

I'm hoping to start saving up for a new Truggy/Buggy
