What tires are you trying to put on it? if they are quite a bit larger than what you normally run you might want to re-gear it to keep motor/esc temps down.

Built the f250 on the left out of a RTR SCX10 Honcho kit and some ar60 Wraith axles on 2.2 Mudslingers. It's fun. So I had a pile of parts left over, including the old axles and Honcho body. So I made a $100 order on the fleaBay and built a second rig for the kids. I've got a TrailFinder body for it and some scale 1.9 beadlocks.

It's an excellent crawler rig. Not a basher and definitely not a speedy stadium truck. But for just cruising a walking trail and hitting every thing you want to its a blast. For a scale crawler it's one of the better ones, IMO. One thing that drew me towards the SCX10 chassis is the aftermarket parts scene. Pretty much anything you'd want is available. But for the amount I paid for the RTR kit I could have pieced it together from various vendors and had a much nicer and better rig. Half the kit is already pulled off and in the box it all came out of from the store.

Here's right after the axle swap before I prepped the f250 body and built some links. Beastly.

Seems to me this thread is getting taken over by crawlers lol
I got a new Wheel setup for mine, now I just gotta make it functional. They rub when turning (rub on bumper, body, and shocks), they rub going up limiting my travel by about half, current body won't work so I'm bringing out the honcho body once again lol. I'm not sure on keeping the spare tire carrier yet.

Finally had a few of hours free time last night. put it to good use to get a couple of the rigs up and running again.

gave the 1/24 losi crawler a thorough cleaning/checkup, then re-discovered just how much I love the tires on it. super sticky compound!

then it was on to the Summit. since I'm no longer in Houston, with 4 rc tracks a stones throw away, my priorities are straying away from racing (kinda sad, but it's only temporary). so I put the long travel rocker arms back on, replaced the front a-arms with RPMs, and rebuilt the diffs with some grease. got three full tires on the flex test with the LT rockers back on, but then realized it was way too top heavy, so I changed the push rod location to slightly limit the travel, and give it a tad lower stance. can't quite get 3 tires now, but I think it's going to be a pretty solid setup for the terrain around me. only thing I see myself having to do is toss some heavier weight shock oil in the coilovers.

Good to see you still into these, I'll be living in St Leonad Sunday night. Won't be able to really move in for a few months but I'll be down there with all my shit in the apartment that's connected to my house. My current house goes to closing February 11th do I gotta get out.

Went and checked out a beach down in long beach, need to get a set of paddle tires for something of mine.

Normally the stuff i do is pretty straight lined i guess you would say. i kinda challenged myself with all the curves on this one. Not too happy with some of the small stupid mistakes i made but overall im pretty happy with it.
