finally got the Losi Micro short courser-assembled last night. cracked the chassis in two and bent/broke a lot of other components a few months ago. took a test drive last night and it's as fun and fast as I remember :)
now trying to convince a couple of my buddies to get them, and take over one's huge unfinished basement to make an indoor race track.

placed some objects next to it for scale.

this is the same body I have on the micro crawler, just painted differently, and no trimming on the fenders.

Eric, do I remember you having a trailer for one of your boats, or am I making that up?

I am having this urge to build a trailer for my big one that I can pull with the crawler. I have enough old wheels and tires to spare, and the material is cheap. really just have to figure out a "hitch" setup

Started building an off road trailer to haul the boat behind the crawler this weekend. was able to put about 2.5 hours into it, and it probably needs about the same to finish it. excluding the wheels and tires that I already have, it'll cost about $100 in raw material and hardware when it's done.

    progress so far

it's not as far along in these two pictures, but here's what it looks like with wheels and tires.

they get torn up so easily/quickly compared to buggy bodies, it's hard to justify putting the money into a nice paint job for them......unless a team/company pays for them :D

I made a trailer but not a boat trailer, just a utility for carrying a crawler behind a stampede.

I used to be in the hobbie. I am looking to get back in. I had a tmaxx 3.3 4910. I want another monster truck. Do any of you have suggestions? I might be interested in moving over to electric.

bring the materials over to my place, and we'll knock it out in a few hours. most time consuming part was figuring out how to build the idler axles and "hitch" setup after that, it's just measure/cut/bend/solder/done.
