    got a new jc finnisher for the t5m. sprayed a few coats of ps46 iridescent and backed it with ps1. looks cool in person. think it's gonna be my go to color combo

    Everyone is so helpful on Tacomaworld so I hope you all don't mind me asking a troubleshooting question here. My son has a Traxxas Rustler and suddenly it won't go forward or reverse, no sound no nothing. However when I turn the wheel on he controller the steering servo works fine. Maybe my XL-5 ESC is shot????? Any ideas? He is 6 and admits to crashing it into a wall (a few times..lol).

    Weld on sliders, fiberglass shell, 12k winch in an Elite Offroad bumper, front Aussie Lunchbox
    Unplug the motor and check voltage from the ESC with a multimeter. I thought my relatively new motor on my Axial crawler died, but I had accidentally broken the solder and the heat shrink kept the wire tight enough to appear connected to the motor.

    stick the motor leads up to a battery +/- and if it moves then the motor is good, if not then it's probly the motor.

    you should probably try not to hit rocks.....

    to be easier on the drivetrain, try loosening the slipper clutch a little.

    Yeah, I put in a brand new slipper setup and had it cranked down. Guess that wasn't the way to do that.

    And I can't pull wheelies anymore due to the aluminum bulkhead up front, but I can haul ass! :D
