The temps creeped into the mid-high 50's today from the single digits I was dealing with a couple days ago. Decided to mess around in my garage. I was in my prime about 10 or 12 years ago. I guess it's like riding a bike, you never forget.

I know there are at least a few skaters on the forum. Make yourselves known.

Perfect timing with the kids walking up, do they know your past? Might be time to pick up helmets, elbow and knee pads. I rode skate boards when I was young, I started when they had steel wheels, I still have one of my old steel wheeled skate boards. I quit just before the urethane wheels came out. I still had to watch out for the little white rock on the side walk. I kept on surfing through my mid twenties though and took it up again when my oldest son wanted to learn. Now both the long board and the skateboard are decorations in the guest bedroom.

My son is 5 and he has expressed some interest since last year. I let him play with a little plastic torpedo shaped board that I've had since I was little. I didn't start skating til I was 15. havn't skated on any kind of regular basis since I was 19 or 20. Got too busy doing other things and kinda lost touch.

old thread, but oh, well. Fellow skaters unite!

I was doing it big these past two years (sponsored by a small shop and everything) but I stopped about this time last year. I'm getting back into the game and I'm going to take up longboarding as well.

Used to board all the time but eventually gave it up to swim 30+ hours a week. I mess around a little when its warm but none of my old shoes fit me anymore. Love to longboard just can't afford it
