Damn it, between my truck accessories and this hobby I'm going broke! :D I decided to take a chance on the Tarot 2D gimbal. I also ordered the ZMR250 frame from banggood, and a set of speed controllers. Now I just need to find some reasonably priced 1900-2200KV motors that aren't being shipped from China. I hate waiting 4 weeks for them to arrive.

I had that gimbal, set the gains right and you won't have issues. I didn't do that with mine and after a certain tilt degree it would get stuck and I would have to reset it.
Maybe? I just ordered a small 250 size frame and parts yesterday :spy: that I am going to use to experiment with FPV. Haven't bought the fat shark yet but I can throw the go pro on it and fly around and tell you what flight times I get. I think I spent $175 on everything, I won't be using a GPS on it and that price doesn't include the radio/receiver.
    Do itttt.

I have to sell my road bike first. My wife wants the garage space for gym equipment and I never ride it anymore.

Ill either get the 450 or the 550

Awesome, that's good to hear! What motors did you go with on the 250? I decided to go with the DYS 2300kv from banggood. I think I'm going to toss my Naze32 Acro on it too.

I might sell mine (550) shortly after I build it, I bought it and the components strictly for testing and knew I would sell it pretty quick afterwards.

Man I love those Tarots, looks so good! Definitely my next upgrade when I get tired of the H550.

It was like Christmas here today. 4 lovely little boxes from hobbyking with various things for my 250 build and the new gimbal! I think I've spent the last 2 hours just watching the damn thing rotate around while I run all over the house. :p

The same seller has the 550 for like 10 bucks cheaper and from everything I can tell they bot have all the same components. Would there be any reason not to get the 550?

Depending on motors and ESCs the 450 might be a little zippier but other than that I wouldn't think so, then again I've only been reading up on quads/hexas and octos for a couple of months so I'm not really an expert heh.

Meh, Ill probably just get the 450 and go from there. Cheaper to upgrade since it needs less parts.

Once I sell my road bike I'll pull the trigger and get one.
