How many of you all participate?

I have done the Spartan Sprint in Charlotte, completed the Super Spartan in Wintergreen (what a challenge!), and will be doing the Spartan Beast in South Carolina in 3 weeks to complete the Trifecta this year.

I am also signed up for the Spartan Sprint in Charlotte next March.

There's a few of us. We discuss it in the 'Runners' Thread. I did 1 'Sprint' last year - but this year I did 2 'Sprints'...1 'Super'...and a 'Beast' just last month. I just got my Trifecta Medal in the mail today (ironically).

All my races where in Canada. Edmonton and Calgary for the 'Sprints' - Red Deer (my home City) for the 'Super' - and the 'Beast' was in Sun Peaks, B.C. (close to Kamploops, B.C.).

Next year my training/race partner and I are considering a double Trifecta. She did the Las Vegas 'Super' this past April - and we both want to do that next year. I'd also like to try a Beast in the U.S.

That's awesome. I would like to do a triple Trifecta, but they are so expensive to run. Let me know if you get stateside in March and care to run a Sprint.

The plan for next year is still formulating - so anything is possible. It's not a cheap sport; traveling around to all the locations. But I do love to see new places.

It would be awesome to run a Spartan in Hawaii!! The heat and humidity would be a real challenge for me.

Done 4 sprints. Super is on tap for the spring. Also did Tough Mudder this June on Gunstock Mountain.

Good luck at the beast. The tough mudder was difficult, I bet the Beast will be really tough, at least judging by how much more physical the Spartan obstacles usually are.

O, and while browsing the pictures from my last Spartan a few months ago I stumbled upon this for some motivation, enjoy..

The furthest I've traveled for a race was the Super at Wintergreen; I can't imagine how much it costs for you to get places. But, let me know if your down this way!
