Glad to see this thread picking up again. I've been trying to broaden my beer horizons, partially because of this thread, but mostly to enjoy the experience.

Can anyone think of any good summer beers? All I know is that the 5 months of the nasty Sam Adams Seasonal has began. I don't think anyone likes the Summer Ale.

I am REALLY liking the HUB Rise Up NW Red Ale right now....perfect balance of refreshing citrusy hops, nice subtle malts and a clean caramel finish. I think I've bought (5) 24oz bottles and (3) 6-packs of the cans in the last month or so...reallllly tasty beer.

Also happy to see Alaskan ESB Seasonal is available too right now.

I like the Sebago Hefeweizen with a slice of lemon on a really hot day. Actually, I often like several of them. :D

Founders All Day IPA pairs pretty well with hot summer weather.

That's the one...I was kind of disappointed by it TBH. Is was like a Light Porter rather than a Black Ale.

I had that during Christmas time and can't remember if it was great or not.

I wasn't a fan, but I do love the Nukie Brown original. They should stick to what they are good at.

This is kind of a 2-parter, but if anyone guesses this, I feel sorry for you :(

I suck as guessing others, but excel at drinking them! This might be tricky. And now that I am drinking it, its pretty tasty.
