Truck Tent - Guide Gear

You didn't state if what you set up was a queen air mattress, in which it looks like one. I would think that if there was rain involved that you'd park the truck at a slight incline. Have you taken it out camping? If so, how did it pan out?

The mattress I am using with it is a full sized one. Fits perfectly in the bed.
I am sad to say that the one weekend that I have planned this summer to get out fell through.
I am hoping for a couple fall days before the snow starts flying.

So I have a extra cab first gen. They are out of stock of the full sized one, would I be able to use the compact size?
