Anyone remember Mark (The Bird) Fidrych?

    Mark (The Bird) Fidrych was a pitcher for the Tigers in the late 70's, known for talking to the baseball and other wierd stuff. He had one great season and kind of faded away after that. He lived not too far from where I grew up in central Mass, on a pig farm. He was found dead under a dump truck yesterday afternoon. I would guess most folks on here don't remember him, but he was a true original. Sad day for us older baseball fans.
