Me and a buddy decided to go hike a local Mt. yesterday, it is only a 2000 ft elevation gain but it was still fun, great view. I have always wanted to do it and yesterday I just said screw it and i'm going. The top is just over 10,000 ft. It made me set my eyes on the other Mt. in the area, Mt. Shasta. That is gonna be a 2 day hike but it is gonna be fun. Here are some pics, the pictures dont do it justice. There were people from all over, people drove from Florida and I think there were some people from sweden it sounded like, and another couple that hiked the wrong Mt., they made us laugh a little.

We had to hike down through all this, pretty slick and pretty fun

Bottom to top is a 2k foot rise... that is not the overall elevation from the peak. :D
