There is a awesome little Mexican restaurant right in Winter Park that has great food! Pretty much anywhere at the Winter Park Ski Resort is good to eat also.

As for the snow, I am not sure, I only go there in the summer to Mt. bike!!!

I ride a 2008 Kona Stinky Air for downhill/freeride and I ride a Eastern DJ4 dirt jumper. Any of the bighit bikes are a pretty good starter bike.

They will have the whole mountain open by Christmas, as for snow it will be hit or miss. You may get snow ever night you may not get any. Double check but Winter Park lift tickets should be good at Copper Mountain and Steamboat Springs so you could go over check out those mountains also. Hope you get some powder while you are out here!
