Super Bowl Coincidences

Alright here is what I have so far.... can you think of more... and I know its silly to think about coincidences but you cant help but think about them.

The 44th Superbowl is Sunday.



Obama is the 44th president.



There are 44 days from Christmas to the Superbowl.



Sean Payton is coming off his 4th Post Season Game as the Head Coach of the New Orleans Saints. (3-1)



Superbowl Sunday is 4 years and 4 months after Katrina. (yea, it is, but actually 4 years/5 months/9 days after Katrina)



The Saints won the NFC Championship 4 minutes and 44 seconds into overtime. (kick went thru the uprights at 4:45, close enough)



Drew Brees has thrown 444 yards in the post season.



Drew Brees longest completed pass in the post season was 44 yards.



The 2010 football season will mark the Saints 44th year in the NFL. (ok, played 43 years from 1967 to current, but were awarded the franchise 44 years ago, Nov 1, 1966)



Tom Benson graduated from St. Aloysius, (now Brother Martin in New Orleans), in 1944



There has only been 4 official Head Coaches for the New Orleans Saints since Tom Benson purchased the team in 1985. (Jim Mora, Mike Ditka, Jim Haslett, and Sean Payton; Wade Phillips and Rick Venturi were both Interim Head Coaches)

Coincidence? I think not...This is our year. WHO DAT!!!

 

I've been going with colts from the start of the post season.

 

I say the Saints win, but not because of all those crazy 4's that have been pulled out of someones ass. To be honest, I think the Colts aren't going to be able to handle the Saints offense, at all.
