USA or Canada?

Who do you think will win the Gold medal in Hockey?

Edit: I think USA will win, even though I dont watch hockey but I do watch the highlights.

 

I think there are more US members on this site.

 

I think a big thing going for Canada is they already lost to USA

U.S.A has been showing a tremendous amount of heart. You guys see how many pucks they were taking to the body? that's heart and hunger to win. GO USA!

 

Should be a really good game, but USA is going to win.

 

Eh if USA keeps playing how they have I dont think anyone can stop them. I actually felt bad watching the game today, that was just pathetic.

 

Ya I agree, gonna be a great game. Its gonna be hard for USA to beat Canada again, seeing as it only happens once every 50 years. But I honestly dont watch it, I just watched today because I knew it was getting towards the final and thats when any sport starts getting good, hell i'll watch tennis if its a championship match

My honest feelings.

My heart wants to say Canada will win.

But, my brain wants to tell me that USA will win.

The way we played the last half of the period today against Slovakia was disgusting. We barely even made it
through the game. Some of that will surely carry through into the next game.

In any case, keep my fingers crossed and believe!!!

 

^the last 11 mins of the 3rd were hard to watch forsure I thought we were going to overtime or lose better not pull that crap with the US. Whoever wins (please canada please) I think its going to be an awesome game!!!!!

 

Not a hockey fan, but it should be a hell of a game. Rooting for the US, no skin off of my chest if canada wins!

 

coming into the olympics, Russia was the team to beat, after beating them 7-2 or whatever it was, I don't think Canada has anything to worry about with the usa.

as far as bragging rights, this will be huge

i personally will be rooting for US, but Canada got caught on their heels in the prelims against US.
Brodeur was not up to task this year.

you see how we ran Kiprusoff out of net against Finland........kind of a "feel sorry for them" first period..........but not really

 

miller was amazing in the last game between US and Canada. he's the reason the US won 5-3, and the fact brodeur wasn't on his game that night. luongo seems to be playing better than brodeur did. to me, it all depends on which goaltenders are hot tomorrow.
