yeah people that ride with us are honestly gona do the WTF

but i cant say anything till we lock in the sponsors for the team itll be rad trust me, more rad once you see us riding them, all im gona say is its gona give people that wana DH and not spend 8k on a bike hope that they can still shred, hopefully ride it this season to get my pro license incase i dont qualify by end of the season :( then next year run a diffrent bike racing pro :D

and id say do the dorado if you are building a full 8 inch bike if you got the cash for it, and Matt i saw your truck for the longest time everytime i went to my GF's house right bye where she lives and always wounderd who had the sick white Taco with the bike in it all the time hahaha

do the Enve bar 800mm is pretty legit, plus carbon dampens vibration, hence why bars are a good place for it...or go with the new havoc 35mm its basically a moto bar 35mm clamp diameter instead of the 31.8 most DH bars have and those are 800mm wide and super light. i have a set in my closet im supposed to test ride this week and write a review on ill let you know how the new Easton bars are after, Arts has em in stock too!

I've been out of the MTB game for like 7 years up until this year, I've missed a lot!!!! .....and a lot of rust has hit these legs :( , slowly getting back to shredding maybe be HALF as gnarly as you PRO!!! MAYBE.

That build idea is AWESOME---can't wait to see it dude!

HAHAHA so funny! I guess we were BOTH creeping each other's trucks then, because I was always seeing it parked across the street from your lady's. I figured my cousin knew you so I asked him first because I saw your truck around SLO with bikes in the back. Your truck is niiiice---how you liking Jay's Fox set up? :D

Don't be a stranger next time you see me out in my driveway, I'll show you my garage queen and maybe get more deets on your skunkworks build up. ;)

Now only if I could get my gf to graduate from her Walmart Schwinny to a full susp bike lol....

We usually do Horse Camp trail up to the park bench at the top and back down. Hazards is cool but I like how HC trail is like a condensed version that throws everything at you in a shorter amount of time. I'm usually huffin and puffin after the climb lol. 1x10 power!

Yeahhhh haha had to start with a Renthal 32T ring to train my body on climbs. I should be good for a 34/35T pretty soon, I'm finding myself spinning out on the drops @ top gear.

Thank goodness my Nomad hits the scale at 32.8 - 33lbs right now. Got a few weight weenie changes planned so I can be deeper in the 32.x or even high 31 range.

I've contemplated an Enve carbon wheel build, but maybe I'll allocate those funds for another future build altogether lol.

Can't see the whole thing but its a Specialized Pitch comp. Full Susp. Rockshox Sektor RL Coil fork =( pretty sure i cracked the coil or something cause it bottoms out like no other and it never used too. Gonna upgrade to a Fox Float or somethin..Rear suspension is a Rockshox Ario? I'm not one to shuttle but me and buddy shuttled up to Mt. Ashland here in southern oregon, pretty much a full hour + of singletrack all the way to downtown.

I already have a carbon DH rig, that I barely use. :D:rolleyes:

I'm really enjoying this latest Nomad build to be honest. The way I have it set up with weight, susp, drive train makes it my 'Swiss Army bike' lol. As soon as I added the Push Industries upper link on my DHX RC4 it transformed this bike into a "V10 Jr." on descending. I don't feel any need to invest into another DH build because I'm liking the versatility so much. It's basically my new dh rig that will climb lol.

My next(well, current) build in progress will be geared solely towards XC. I haven't used a front derailleur in YEARS, but I'm excited to get this project finished.

I can honestly say everytime I run across your Demo on CL, I always stop an look at the pictures every single time lol. Someone who knows bikes knows your style of build is best of the best!
