It's an amazing place. My favorite 18rd ride is joes ridge into mojo. Mojo is a newer trail at the bottom of joes ridge. Fast high burms and jumps. (Don't know of you've been there since they opened it)

Nope. I remember Joe's, but no Mojo. I was there in Sept 2011.

the over drive pro has wayyy better components than the GT. that GT is probably one of the last 26in hardtail any larger manufacturer will.

ive never had any experience with the diamondback frames though. i know those arent just any diamondback from a sport goods store so they should be good for what it is. thats a solid price for that spec too, your not gonna find any other bikes with that spec and price unless they are also on sale

I know after looking at all the bikes in here anything I can afford will be crap.. But anyone have any recomendations on a bike I should be looking for under 200? I just don't know what to look out for or avoid when looking for a bike I'm new to it and don't have the money to drop 600+ on one at a bike shop.. Any help would be awesome!

I can't afford anything more then that so don't really have a option unless I just don't get another bike... I tried the Walmart bike thing and thrashed it in a year why I want to try to find a used higher quality bike

They must make them a lot better nowadays. I trashed a new huffy 18 speed in about 3 weeks back in 1992 when starting out. That was just riding and no crashing. Damn thing musta weighed 50 lbs too, lol. But to be fair, department store bikes like that are trash to begin with and never really meant to leave the neighborhood sidewalks....they only look like mt bikes.

I didn't drop 2k on the bike I ride now. I have 5-6k bikes prior when I was riding every day. I switched to a hard tail trek wahoo and you can find those used from 3-500. I upgraded a few things but it would have been fine. I love mountain biking but with a 1 year old daughter I could not justify having 16k worth of bicycles in my house.

Understandable, I'm selling my house to buy another right now so I feel ya. Although I just got a full price offer so I will no longer have any debt minus my wife's car.
