thats a good helmet, mine fits perfectly, i love it. i tried on the new bell super and it felt weird. like i barely notice my flux is there but the super was weird, definitely more coverage though

do any of you wear ankle braces while riding? i rolled my ankle yesterday riding bmx at the skatepark haha, im looking for something that would be low profile for biking if any of you have any in mind

I was in between a S/M and L/XL but slightly closer to the S/M so I went with that one. I hope its not too small or tight.

just picked up a Kona Stuff the other day, excited to get out on some trails. It's not stock by any means, which sucks when trying to figure out what it will need for parts/service, but for what i paid, i really cant complain. I think it needs a new chain, and i need a shock pump to pump up the marzocchi drop off fork a little bit..

Shimano brakes blow doors on Avid brakes in my opinion iv ran over 2 dozen sets off Avid breaks everything from juicy's to codes to elixers to BB7s and on my last few bike builds iv used the new Saint, SLX, XTR. something about the Shimano's makes them feel sooooo much better, every set of avids i have ever used fade before i even burn out the pads...then i bleed them and after that they feel ruined. I also switched to Shimano drive train now still not sure if i like the SRAM or Shimano shifting better yet, i do like the 1:1 ration SRAM uses makes adjusting much easier but like you said the snappy shifting on the Shimano stuff feels pretty solid, my only complaint with shimano is dealing with any warrenty stuff with them is tough, sram would send me new brakes or derrailurs in a heart beat if i said something was wrong

Nice! The Stuff is a rad little hardtail. I've had mine for about 5 years and I've used it as a Dirt Jumper. Beat the piss out of it and it still keeps tickin'. You can probably get a new fork pretty cheap. I'm running the Marz Bomber 3's and they hold up fine. I scrapped the front derailer and only use the rears. Works great for trails, dj and park.

My 15 year old son and his buddies pull away from me on the mountain bike trails now. Here is a little video of a run he did last Friday evening.

Slowly getting back into it. I used to be much braver back in the day and DH isn't so much my forte. I was on a Specialized Rockhopper since 2000 and many miles one her so she's mildly retired. I ended up picking up a '12 Trek Fuel EX8 recently.

sweet video man, mmmm SoCal dirt? looks familiar i dated a girl for awhile who has family in San Clemente and we would go down there every summer and i would just ride the whole time in Laguna Beach haha the trails are so much fun there i havnt been in so long :( if i could ride anywhere in cali other than where i live it would be SoCal, where were those trails you guys were riding, ever been down to Laguna to ride or ever been to one of the races out at Fontana?

why i love the riding where i live :D makes me wish i still had a DH bike tho :(

Edit better view of the trail, its been argued as one of the gnarliest trails ever built we had a secret race on it a few years ago and Cedric Gracia showed up and opted out to riding it. its been around since forever, you might recognize it from chainsmoke 2, Richard Lancaster built it

Nothing makes you feel old like a bunch of rugrats schooling you on the Mt. Be it snowboarding or Biking. I remember when I was that kid so I guess it's ok. Soon it will be my son's turn. I still like to rip it up so all is good. Nice bikes fellas.

A couple of videos from a long weekend (73 miles) of riding in Brown County, Indiana. If you are within a day's drive, this place is highly recommended. Good campgrounds, and reasonable motels in Bloomington (and great pizza at Mother Bear's).

First one is one of the slower but flowy descents. Second one has a few fast sections going north, much faster heading south. I don't have the really fast videos edited up yet.

I have a set of those pedals and I think they're a great bargin for the price.

Also, BrownCounty is awesome riding, great to see good videos of the trails! Now If only I could ride it all w/o dealing with the climb back up :D

About 10 guys took a trip down there to Two Rivers for the opening, said it was a blast. Any good places to camp down there?
