    Yes, I sold my '13 Taco. :'(
Finished customizing the new bike I'm giving my lady for Christmas...it will be her first entry level MTB.

I couldn't stand her pile of shit Walmart Schwinn "Aluminum Comp" any longer on our rides. The thing would not shift correctly for more than a few weeks until going back to hanging between almost every gear. Oh and not to mention it's just a piece of crap. Don't worry she bought that, not me lol.

    Her old bike:

What she'll be getting on Christmas:

    IMG_20141223_155134_1-picsay_zpsiloztxmw_b5ef226ca7889aa2c519e360a682dacd14727390.jpg

It's a brand new 2014 GT Bikes Avalanche Comp GT(W).

Her favorite color is pink so I did my best to do customize it TASTEFULLY lol.
    -pink ODI Ruffian grips
    -pink Fyxation platform pedals
-pink cased Serfas Thunderbolt LED tail light
    -Lezyne Zecto front LED light
-changed the saddle to an Ergon Phorm S/330 gel for women(feels like a couch compared to the saddles I ride on lol)
-changed the stem to a shorter Hussefelt 40mm for a more comfortable seating position.

I'll have to check into this.
I'm not sure if mine is a 1st gen or 2nd gen. I bought it used from a guy this Fall, but I don't think it's more than 6 months old.

Thats a nice looking bike! GTs are solid although a bit heavy in their entry level bikes. A decent air fork will transform that bike completely!

any of you guys run bontrager rhythm wheels tubeless? Im about to convert mine but not sure if I need rim strips. online their description says all I need are tubeless tires and sealant so I just wanted to see if anyone has done it before I drop almost $70 on the stans tubeless kit

It's the girl version of the Avalanche Comp GT lol. That's the "W" designation in the title. The Aggressor bikes look very similar, but are equipped with components making them more "recreational" hardtails than trail hardtails.

Somehow I missed the Avalanche page on the GT website lol. I have an 2014 Aggressor 1.0. Some of the specs are similar.

No skipping.....you'll miss out on the cool tune. I'm taking it as one of the canned youtube songs you can add to your video? Do you know what it was or who sings it? Oh yeah, cool trail video too................

was that one of the songs in a really recent MTB movie "Where the Trail Ends"? I love that song and either that was it, or it just reminded me of it

Added a trailer hitch and the 4 pin connector
So it's not quite as fancy as the dual suspension bikes on here, but it was in my budget. Also, I really like it :)
