Been riding this for the past few weeks. Pedals just as well if not better than most XC full squish bikes to be honest. 36 has been very smooth as well, I like it better than a pike personally.

Heres my bike. Absolutely love this bike. Sold the 2011 Enduro 26 expert and bought this 2015 Enduro 29 Expert for a crazy deal on craigslist.

Wondering if I can get some feedback from you experts.. looking at this bike. Not sure how I feel about it, seems like they just kinda threw mediocre parts on a decent frame.

2011 Trek Remedy 9.9 - 150mm fox 34(not sure why he put a 27.5 fork on when hes running 26s :notsure:)

    http://cosprings.craigslist.org/bik/4977771961.html

plan is to have a good all mountain bike. Been going to Trestle(downhill park in CO) for a few summers so rather than renting dh bikes everytime; I want something that I can huck downhill and not worry about a shitty ride as well as be able to hit up normal singletrack trails and not feel like im draggin 50lbs uphill.

Im also lookin at a trek slash 9 and specialized enduro evo(for a great dh experience)

    thanks in advanced.

yeah it does seem kind of like the owner just pieced it together really quick, not really sure why they swapped out the DRCV shock for a monarch, I know some people don't like the DRCV shock but its probably better than a standard monarch. Then the 27.5 fork on a 650b...kind of weird too. I think that would throw the geometry off a little.

that frame is great though. maybe take a look at the slash and enduro though, not gonna pedal quite as well as the remedy but if you set up that DRCV shock on the slash right it pedals pretty well for how much travel it has

That bike appears to have been ridden pretty hard, very little of the original left. Original fork and shock were probably not serviced properly, so he had to replace them. That bolt in the top of the rear shock does not look right. Could have a lot of bearing issues. Personally, I would pass at that price.

Go with the Spesh enduro if it's good shape and a decent price. I'm not even a fan of specialized bikes but that enduro is a great ride. A bunch of my friends have the s-works enduro and swear by them.

I'd pass on the other bike though.. Seems totally hacked up. The 650b fork is a big red flag for me.

My downhill bike is 27.5 and I love it! Sooner or later when it's time to replace my trail bike I'll step up to 27.5 there as well.

    Here is my latest bike:

Bought the frame used and built it up with mostly new parts. Still dialing in the rear shock but this bike absolutely rips.

As I understand it, you may never be fully done tweaking the DB Inline as they are pretty finicky, however it is an awesome shock. I rode one on an S-Works Enduro last summer and I didn't fully realize what a rear shock should feel like until that ride.
